Epic Saturday Adventures are just around the corner

Saturdays are looking a whole lot better from the 2nd of September. We’ve had the BEST time this summer with our supported respite adventures, epic days out and clubs for autistic and ASN young adults. We’re also incredibly proud of every single one of our adventurers and what they have achieved so far this year. Trying new things, meeting new people, learning new skills and most of all, having a LOT of fun.

We just can’t get enough adventure in our lives so to offer you all even more unique and exciting experiences through to the end of the year, we’re launching brand new, Epic Saturday Adventures.

We start with a brand new, truly unique powerboat adventure on the Firth of Forth. We’ll Escape to Foxlake, tackle the white water of the Tay in rafts and hone our target skills with a spot of archery before trekking the dramatic Scottish countryside on quad bikes with our Targets & Tyres adventure.

Let’s break it down…

🛥️ 3 Bridges Blast - 2nd September

We’re heading to South Queensferry for a blast around the 3 bridges with Port Edgar Watersports on the brand new (officially named earlier this summer by The Princess Royal!), the only one of its kind in the country, “Wetwheels Edinburgh.”

Not only will you get a chance to see the wide variety of wildlife that call the Firth of Forth home, you get to experience powerboating like never before. Everyone gets a chance to be Skipper and drive the boat!

You will get a unique view of the spectacular Scottish coastline from the boat as we navigate around the bridges and learn more about the area and its history all while making new friends on this exhilarating powerboat trip.

🦊 Escape to Foxlake - 16th September

Join us for an epic day out as we Escape to Foxlake to take on the new Aquapark, an inflatable obstacle course over the water, tear up and down the lake on the Ringos (giant inflatable rings) and experience the East Lothian countryside like never before on a Segway safari! We’re heading back to see our good pals at Foxlake Adventures one last time before the winter arrives. This is one of our favourite epic days out and we can’t wait to go back!

🌊 White Water Rafting - 7th October

We’re heading north to Highland Perthshire, one of Scotland's most beautiful wildernesses, home to deer, red squirrels, woodpeckers, grebes and perhaps even otters.

We’re off to see our good friends at Splash in Aberfeldy for a day of rafting down the white water rapids of the River Tay to Grandtully. Adrenaline is guaranteed to be pumping on this thrilling adventure, fully supported by TeamEdge.

Not only will your experienced instructor introduce you to the fundamentals of rafting, to make sure you have the best experience possible, but you’ll also get the chance to see some of Scotland’s iconic wildlife and experience the spectacular colours of autumn in Big Tree Country.

🎯Targets & 🛞 Tyres - 18th November

Another brand new adventure for you all with an Epic Saturday Adventure in South Queensferry with Battlezone. We’ll sharpen our target skills with some archery followed by a trek through the spectacular countryside of Firth of Forth Coastline.

After, we’ll have a walk along the beach to discover more about the area and enjoy our lunch as we spot the local wildlife before heading back home. Put the pedal to the metal and take aim this November on the Targets & Tyres Epic Saturday Adventure with Edge.
