Support Edge Woods

Edge Woods is built on community spirit β€” and we’re inviting you to be part of its growth

Support our growth

Edge Group Scotland is a social care provider, not a charity. That means we don’t have access to the same funding routes as charities do β€” but we’re committed to creating innovative, sustainable spaces for young adults who are autistic and/or have additional support needs.

Your contribution will go directly towards our Edge Woods project: transforming our on-site woodland into a safe, accessible, eco-focused learning space where skills, wellbeing, and community come together.

How your contributions help

By contributing to our project you’re helping us provide the essentials that make Edge Woods safe, accessible, and thriving: from PPE and tools to raised beds, bird boxes, and beyond. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a tangible step towards creating a sustainable and inclusive woodland space.

This isn’t about donations. It’s about investing directly in something you can see taking shape β€” and being part of its story.

Can you help?

We’re not looking for shiny new items. In fact, wherever possible we want to reuse, repurpose, and up-cycle to keep waste out of landfill and make this project as sustainable as possible.

That means:

  • Surplus or ex-demo stock from businesses

  • Tools and equipment with cosmetic wear but still working

  • Older or damaged materials that can be repaired or repurposed

  • β€œSeconds” that aren’t good enough for retail but are still functional

  • Everyday items that might be sitting in your garden shed or garage β€” things you no longer use but that could have a second life with us (old spades, buckets, watering cans, benches, storage boxes, etc.)

πŸ‘‰ If it still works β€” or can be made to work β€” we’ll put it to good use.

What we can use?

    • Watertight storage unit

    • Outdoor metal shed(s) or lockable garden storage

    • Outdoor timber benches or seating
