  • Adventurous, big-hearted, goofball

  • I am absolutely obsessed with skimming stones! If there are stones and a body of water I have to do it. I love it so much I decided to enter the world championships and it turns out I've gotten quite good. I came in 19th of the World Stone Skimming championships twice! (Out of 400 people fyi πŸ˜‰) I have even marked locations on Google maps for places with good stones πŸ˜…

  • Stone skimming (Top 20 in the world championships!)

    Wild swimming (Beach Lifeguard)

    Hiking

    Camping

    Paddle boarding (Any watersports really!)

    Surfing

    Snowboarding (Casi Instructor)

    Skiing (UKSS Instructor)

    Kayaking/Canoeing

    Rock climbing

    Climbing trees

    Diving

    Capoeira

  • I love making music (Guitar, synths, singing, field recording)

    Writing lyrics, poems or stories

Making little video edits to go with my music

    Adventures in my campervan "Ruby"

    Cooking for myself and others

    Fermenting food and drinks

    Camping with my friends

    Whittling sticks into walking staves

Oh no is that me about to mention "Stone Skimming" again 😬 obsessed!!

    Wild swimming

    Bagging a Munro

    Nature walks

    Any watersports

  • Easdale Island. They have swimming quarries, a place to park up with my campervan, amazing views of the west coast islands and best of all it's the most incredible spot for skimming stones. That's where the world championships are held! It's got a lot of what I love in one place.

  • Savoury: I absolutely love a burrito

Sweet: Gelato. I will often seek out the best gelato parlour wherever I go.

One of the least fussy eaters you'll ever meet!

  • I love them all for their own reasons.

    • Spring: When the world comes back to life, the birds start to sing again, and the leaves/flowers begin to sprout up after a long winter

    • Summer: Love me some warmth, sunshine and bright nights. You'll find me in the water somewhere.

    • Autumn: Spooky season, earthy tones and mushroom spotting.

    • Winter: Excuse to get cozy and work on some indoor projects. Skiing season begins!

  • πŸ€™πŸ» got to be the shakas!

Just screams good vibes and we use it a lot at Edge. Often used while saying "Bananaaaass" πŸ€™πŸ»πŸŒ

  • The hardest question for me. At the moment I would say Afrobeat. Always gets me moving and brings the positive energy.

  • I'm not a big reader but when I do it's usually a Stephen King novel.

"Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss." Benjamin Button

The most embarrassing thing about me

I once dressed in drag for a fancy dress party and I was the only person that wore a costume. I still stand by that I was in the right.. although, it was a 'fancy' dress party where you wear your best suit and tie.. There I was, wearing one of my sister's dresses and caked in make up. It was a bit embarrassing at the time but ooh la la I looked fabulous darling πŸ˜…

The weirdest thing about me

Probably the way I talk to animals as if they have the slightest idea what I'm talking about.. but I like to think they do-a-little. I will also mimic their reply back in whatever voice suits their character.

Biggest achievement

1. Gaining my CASI qualification to become a snowboard instructor πŸ€™ 2. Being Martin Wishart's first apprentice chef

Fun fact

I once had my lunch cooked for me personally by Gordon Ramsay.. On stage.. in front of 1000 people. He complimented my style (atrocious) and I think I just laughed in reply with a red face. It was a delicious meal πŸ‘Œ

Credentials prior to working with Edge

I have worked in the care sector for nearly 3 years and I absolutely love it.

Favourite place in the world

Wherever there is good gelato.

What do you like about working with Edge

I love the variety in my role. One day I'm cooking the "Good morning burger" from the Simpsons with a client and another day I'm climbing up a river in a wetsuit or skiing. Every day is different!

What I enjoy doing outside of work

Capoeira, making music, cooking and camping.

Makes me different

When it comes to activities and thrills I will always have a go, even if I find it scary. I have to try any opportunity that comes my way or I won't forgive myself after. If you never try you'll never know!
