Fun / Random fact about me

I did a bungee swing even though I was scared of heights (I am a big adrenaline junkie) and wanted to feel the thrill of swinging off a bridge.

Weirdest thing about me

I absolutely love making a racket using musical instruments, I think my neighbours are sick of me......

What was it that prompted you to join TeamEdge?

I was drawn to working with Edge Group because I’ve always had a deep interest in supporting others to grow in confidence and independence, especially those who face extra challenges in daily life. I’ve seen how important it is for young people to feel understood, accepted, and empoweredβ€”and I wanted to be part of a team that makes that happen. The idea of working in a hands-on, supportive environment where each day brings new opportunities to connect and make a difference really appealed to me.

What I enjoy doing outside of work

Climbing, surfing, skateboarding, playing instruments like electric guitar and drums, photography, walking and camping

Credentials before joining TeamEdge

Over the last three years, I have had the privilege of working with young adults with additional needs in a woodland environment. This experience has taught me how powerful nature-based settings can be for developing confidence, independence, and life skills. My role required creativity, patience, and a flexible, person-centred approach to support each individual in their personal development journey.

Forrest and Outdoor Learning Award, Forrest Leader SCQFF Level 6. Level 5 Outdoor Skills Award. Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award

What makes me different

I try to lift others up, keep spirits high, and bring a sense of fun to activities while still being professional and focused. I think my energy helps the young people feel more engaged and motivated, especially in outdoor or hands-on settings where being upbeat can make a big difference.
