Shaping New Futures Together

At Edge Group Scotland, we believe in creating opportunities where young adults who are autistic and/or have additional support needs (ASN) can thrive — gaining the skills, confidence, and independence to shape their own futures.

We’re preparing to launch a brand-new initiative that will bring learning, wellbeing, and community impact together in a way we’ve never done before. It’s big, it’s exciting, and it will open up fresh opportunities for our young people — and for the wider local community too.

How you can support right now

To get this project started, we need practical supplies and materials — the kinds of things that local businesses, trades, or households might already have spare. Every contribution, big or small, helps us take another step towards building something truly transformative.

And don’t worry about the logistics — we can arrange to collect items from you if that makes it easier.

What we can use

We’re not looking for shiny new items. In fact, wherever possible we want to reuse, repurpose, and up-cycle to keep waste out of landfill and make this project as sustainable as possible.

That means:

  • Surplus or ex-demo stock from businesses

  • Tools and equipment with cosmetic wear but still working

  • Older or damaged materials that can be repaired or repurposed

  • “Seconds” that aren’t good enough for retail but are still functional

  • Everyday items that might be sitting in your garden shed or garage — things you no longer use but that could have a second life with us (old spades, buckets, watering cans, benches, storage boxes, etc.)

👉 If it still works — or can be made to work — we’ll put it to good use.

Why it matters

By supporting now, you’re helping to create a future space where young people can grow their skills, build confidence, and make a visible contribution to their community.

This is just the beginning — we really can’t wait to share more with you at our upcoming Intake Open Day.
